Mnenhy 0.7.5 (2007-02-05)
This version of Mnenhy needs at least SeaMonkey 1.0, Thunderbird 1.5 or Firefox 1.5 to be fully functional. Older versions may work (partially), but I didn't test them in depth. If you find that it's not working, Mnenhy 0.7.4 is still available.
Download
Even though Mozilla-based browsers are able to install Mnenhy directly, having a local copy available may come handy. You can download the entire Mnenhy package by saving the XPI to your harddisk (shift-click, option-click or choose 'Save Link Target As' from the context menu):
- <mnenhy-0.7.5.xpi> (289,051 Bytes)

SHA1-Hash: 938a5e93a968904b3e2238818186fd4c5b1a1408
You may want to consider downloading and installing the MessageID-Finder also. ;-)
Installation
It is recommended that you uninstall an old Mnenhy version before installing the new one by using Mnenhy's uninstaller on the Mnenhy main preferences panel (Mnenhy v0.7.2 and newer) or the Extension Manager (Mnenhy before v0.7.2). Your Mnenhy customizations will stay intact.
Please refer to the respective chapters of the documentation for details and advanced installation options.
SeaMonkey
If you're running SeaMonkey, you can use this form to easily customize your installation:
SeaMonkey and Firefox
If you have mozdev.org in your Mozilla-based browser's XPI whitelist, you can simply click this <mnenhy-0.7.5.xpi> link to install Mnenhy.
Thunderbird
Since Thunderbird isn't a browser, you have to download the entire Mnenhy package to your harddisk before installing it via Tools → Extension Manager. Older Thunderbirds need to use Tools → Options → Extensions and may have to restart twice.
Known Limitations
- Mnenhy's Custom Headers are based upon the "display all headers" functionality of the
Mozilla C++ core. Hence all headers will be shown in printing and inline attaching.
Please switch into "Normal" headers view mode temporarily.
(See also Mozilla bug 236954.) - You can't use the "Normal" headers view mode with Enigmail. Please use any custom view mode instead.
- The chrome registration process has changed for Firefox/Thunderbird 1.5 and greater, so the Chrome Manager is disabled there.

Mnenhy 0.7.4 (2006-04-30)
This version of Mnenhy needs at least SeaMonkey 1.0a, Mozilla 1.6, Thunderbird 0.6 or Firefox/Firebird 0.6 to be fully functional. Older versions may work partially, but especially Chrome Manager and Custom Headers will very likely fail! Netscape 7.2 should work as it is based upon Mozilla 1.7; if you're still running Netscape 7.1, please use the very old version 0.2 below. Netscape 8 is not supported officially, but may work since the corresponding Firefox version does.

Mnenhy 0.2 (2003-07-01)
This version of Mnenhy needs Mozilla 1.3 or higher to be fully functional. In particular, it will run with Netscape 7.1, but not with Netscape 7 or older due to their outdated Mozilla core.
Installation

Known Limitations
- When using the uninstaller with profile-installed add-ons and themes, please note that these will be deleted, too, because the uninstaller will delete the chrome.rdf files! Applicationwide installations (i.e. with entries in installed-chrome.txt) are not affected.
- The Chrome Manager also deletes the chrome.rdf files, so you may need to reinstall profile-installed add-ons and themes!
- Mnenhy's Custom Headers are based upon the "display all headers" functionality of the Mozilla C++ core. Hence all headers will be shown in printing and inline attaching.
